6 weeks

We had our first pacifier search last night. It seems we have lost one. Probably the first of many.

Easter weekend was great!  All the family was here :)
Luc got an Easter basket from Nana :)   Nico and I have already made a serious dent in the chocolate.
Luc loved seeing his uncles! He saw great uncles Chris and Greg, uncles Kyle and Thorsen, and Aunt Amanda!


Luc is spitting up less and less. He loves to kick and wave his arms around :) I would be exhausted with so much activity! I think I have a video of the kicking :)  I love it because he is happy to be on his own and kick and I am able to do more stuff.

He is more interested in his surroundings and may be realizing that he controls his arms and hands. He's reaching out and grabbing more but most times it doesn't seem planned. :)

His gas is still bad - it wakes him at night and makes him fussy in the evenings. Overall he's doing great though :)  He was 9 pounds, 11 ounces at last check.

Breastfeeding is getting better.  I don't have pains all the time now. Sometimes it still hurts like crazy when the milk flow is too fast and he's trying to clamp down to stop it. But mostly, it is usually fine!  Apparently, the 6 week mark was the magic time for me. I still have some vasospasm pain but it's not as bad as before - maybe the warmer weather helps too.  I'm practicing breastfeeding in front of people. This weekend was a good test because my family was here the whole time and I mostly fed Luc in the living room!
