15 months

We went to the doctor's today for Luc's 15 month checkup.  He's staying in the same ranges, around 75 percentile for height and 5-10 for weight.  In general he's doing really well. He grew 3 inches and gained over a pound since our last dr visit.

He's got 6 teeth that are mostly in. 4 on top and 2 on the bottom.  He's currently pushing out his 1yr molars which seems to take a long time. I feel like we realized they were starting to come out weeks ago and now there are only the 4 tiny points sticking out. We think this has been keeping him awake at night some.  Some days he just seems exhausted.

He got sick last week. We had a busy day including walking at hemlock bluffs and then going to the Y. When we got home we realized he had a fever. Checked his temperature and it was 104.1.  He had hand foot and mouth.... fortunately, not bad though.


Things he eats: cheerios and snack foods for toddlers, yogurt, cut chicken or turkey or fish. he likes pasta and rice, and bread. he likes mild cheese (mild cheddar or babybel), veggies, cooked squash and zucchini, cooked carrots, soft green beans, sometimes broccoli. He  loves strawberries and fruit, sometimes he will eat banana.  He likes to practice with a spoon and fork. The cleanup is super fun when he practices eating yogurt out of a bowl with a spoon.

He is talking a lot more. He says bird, bowl, ball, cheese, shoes, cheerios, bye and dada. He knows a lot more words but can't quite say them. Well, even the words he says are hard to tell what he's saying except bye and dada.

He is still pretty careful but he's having more accidents as he is learning new things and becoming more active. He goes down the slide in the bonus room and is pretty careful. He went down the slide at daycare and ended up scraping the skin off his nose on the floor. oops.

There have been so many changes in the last 3 months. I feel like I am missing a ton of stuff to tell everyone.
