dr visit

Doctors Visit
Today was his 9 month checkup.
Head circumference: 45 cm - 50th Percentile
Length: 28.5 inches,  (72.39 cm) - 50-75th Percentile
Weight: 16 pounds, 14 ounces (7.65 kg) - 10th Percentile
Yay!  10th percent for weight!
:)

He's doing pretty good overall.  He's still having a problem with solids.  If it's not super pureed sometimes it causes him to gag.  He's been eating cheerios and he likes them but if he has too much he will gag and up they will all come, like today!  fun...  The doctor said if that continues past when he should be moving on to solid solids then he can get therapy or something :)

He's on soy formula and my dwindling supply of breast milk. I'm still pumping but I have a feeling I am on a downward slide now. We did a lot more research on soy and can't find anything concrete in a negative light. He was also exclusively fed breast milk for the first 6 months so that is also helpful as far as how much soy he's gotten in his lifetime...

He's doing good on all his motor skills.  pulling up,crawling, cruising, dancing while he's holding onto stuff :) ,

Luc likes to pee in the bath.  Tonight we caught it in a cup. haha!  He likes to stand up and then he kind of grunts and stands a little funny, then he pees. So tonight we kept it from going in the bathwater by catching it in a cup.  I know, random.

This was a while ago, I wasn't sure if I had posted it yet.

Luc is much more accomplished now, going back and forth in the room. Getting mad when he reaches the end and can't go forward anymore.

He used to be afraid of the Roomba. Now they are friends:)

We guess he is practicing his chewing or just making new movements with his mouth.

OK, I have to go for now. Too many things to do :)

  1. Oh I see how it is! Roomba is his friend, but central vac is the enemy. Or he's just used to friendly, interactive vacuums, rather than a baby-eating hole in the wall.
